In keeping with the directive of the National Examination Board and Ministry of Education that evaluation of the learner has to be done in context during the process of continuous learning the C.C.E. has been introduced in class IX and X and also at the primary level so as to provide a holistic picture of the learner.
The objective is to bring continuous improvement in the performance of a learner though constant diagnosis of gaps and difficulties in learning and helping the learner in overcoming through remediation of instruction

Each Academic year has been divided Four Terminal Sessions :

  • Term I Baisakh to Ashar
  • Term II Shrawan to Ashoj
  • Term III Kartik to Poush
  • Term IV Magh to Chaitra
